As a Medical Sales Representative, Dry Eye supporting our Ocular Health Pharma Sales team, you will be trusted to promote key pharmaceutical products, strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, and drive territory growth across North Mexico City, Estado de México and Hidalgo.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Promoting and increasing market share of key Dry Eye pharmaceutical products by executing sales strategies, achieving business objectives, and supporting prescription generation.
  • Visiting doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, optical shops, and distributors within the assigned territory.
  • Building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key accounts to educate, influence, and support product adoption in alignment with Alcon’s sales techniques and compliance guidelines.
  • Managing territory coverage through disciplined call planning, customer segmentation, route execution, and follow-up to ensure appropriate visit frequency and business impact.
  • Preparing accurate reports on calls, business opportunities, competitor activity, and territory performance while completing required training and certifications throughout the year.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Optometry, or a related field.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical sales, ophthalmology, eye care, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, business objectives, or territory goals.
  • Experience managing a sales territory, planning customer visits, following call plans, and prioritizing accounts based on business opportunity.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage doctors, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong learning agility, curiosity, adaptability, and self-management.
  • Analytical ability to understand territory potential, customer needs, competitor activity, and opportunities to improve coverage and prescription conversion.
  • Availability to travel across the assigned territory.
  • Ability to follow corporate guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, documentation requirements, and applicable GxP regulations.
