THE JOB

Execute Venue Nation’s policies as developed by Live Nation’s Global Security Organization in conjunction with Venue Nation and Crossroads Safety and Security Committee.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Coordination with Global Security & Venue Nation GMs/Mgmt on the annual review of Safety Act requirements including penetration testing, third party assessments and QATs.
  • Coordinate development and refinement with each venue GM and Global Security the Venue Emergency Operations Plans, Venue Self-Assessments, Security SOPs and Venue Security Maps.
  • Coordinate with Venue Nation GMs on the development of event staffing plans for each facility, and assist in the tracking of actual event staff deployment.
  • Coordinate with Venue Nation GMs on contingency plans for event staffing, including vetting & engaging 3rd party security contractors & other 3rd party services as may be needed.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting compliance opportunities during venue visits.
  • Support venue GMs in liaising with Local, State and Federal agencies to ensure coordination and communication between venues and authorities are maintained and productive.
  • Where applicable coordinate with each venue GM Local, State and Federal agencies to ensure coordination and communication between venues and authorities are maintained and productive.
  • Where applicable coordinate with each venue GM Local, State and Federal Licensing requirements for security guards
  • Assist Venues in executing high-quality and effective signage plans to communicate venue policies to Fans (i.e. bag policies)
  • Identify and communicate trends in peer-to-peer security group to ensure Venue Nation is leading the industry in safety and efficiency.
  • Develop a staff management plan consistent with Live Nation policies and procedures.
  • Identify and develop training opportunities for new and existing staff
  • Ensure compliance with Live Nation training standards
  • Interface with third-party venues and ensure a unified approach to security management at Live Nation events
  • Additional responsibilities as Live Nation’s overall security planning efforts evolve over time.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 5+ years of managing security teams, departments, etc. within live sports or entertainment industry
  • Direct experience engaging and partnering with local municipalities, law enforcement agencies, community leaders, etc.
  • Experience training and developing large crews / staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills
  • Position requires travel up to 50% of time
  • Abilities to work flexible/varied hours – nights, weekends, holidays
  • Position is required to work events and have an in-office presence.
