Job Summary:
The Agent Services Representative position will be responsible for the processing of agent/agency onboarding paperwork, case ownership, and agent maintenance to ensure accurately and timely completion of agent transactions. This position’s primary focus will be agent and agency onboarding but will also be required to assist with other types of transactions for agent maintenance. The position will be a part of the sales operations team supporting the new internal administrative platform.
Main Accountabilities:
This role will process and review agent and agency onboarding paperwork to determine if it is in good order. For paperwork that is not in good order, the Agent Services Representatives will work directly with agents and back offices to resolve the outstanding issues.
This position has a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced level degree a plus
• 3+ years of operational/customer service or processing experience or a combination is preferred
• Proven ability to communicate effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of the annuity market, with specific focus on the fixed, fixed indexed and variable annuities.
