Senior Lead Generation & Affiliate Marketing Manager

Role Overview

The Senior Lead Generation & Affiliate Marketing Manager owns the top-of-funnel acquisition strategy for a tribal lending portfolio. This role is responsible for sourcing, scaling, and optimizing high-intent loan applications through affiliate partnerships, lead networks, and real-time bidding systems. Success is measured by the ability to consistently deliver compliant, high-quality leads at optimal cost while navigating the regulatory nuances of tribal lending.

Core Responsibilities

Affiliate & Publisher Sourcing

  • Identify, recruit, and manage a high-performing network of third-party affiliates, publishers, and lead generators within the consumer lending space.
  • Build long-term, volume-based relationships with top-tier partners to secure consistent, scalable traffic.
  • Maintain ongoing communication to optimize placements, creative alignment, and performance incentives.

Ping-Post & Ping Tree Management

  • Own the technical configuration and daily optimization of Ping-Post and Ping Tree environments.
  • Ensure real-time bidding logic aligns with portfolio yield targets, approval rates, and funding capacity.
  • Monitor latency, response accuracy, and bid competitiveness across all sources.

Strategic Pricing & Negotiation

  • Negotiate CPA/CPL structures with affiliates and lead networks to maximize margin and volume.
  • Leverage performance data and scale to secure preferential pricing, volume discounts, and first-look or exclusive traffic.
  • Continuously recalibrate payouts based on lead quality, conversion rates, and downstream performance.

Yield Optimization & Price-Reject Modeling

  • Optimize acceptance thresholds using real-time performance data to improve overall marketing ROI.

Lead Quality & Traffic Analysis

  • Monitor lead flow in real time to detect fraud, duplication, policy violations, or non-compliant traffic.
  • Analyze Revenue-per-Lead (RPL), Earnings-per-Click (EPC), approval rates, and funding outcomes by source.
  • Partner with internal risk, compliance, and operations teams to continuously improve lead standards.

Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure all affiliate marketing materials, landing pages, and lead-capture methods comply with:
    • Federal consumer protection requirements
    • Advertising and disclosure standards
    • The unique regulatory framework governing tribal lending
  • Act as a gatekeeper for third-party traffic quality and compliance integrity.

 

Required Technical Skills

  • Ping-Post / Ping Tree Expertise: Deep understanding of automated bidding systems, lead routing, and LMS configuration.
  • Affiliate Management: Proven ability to scale and manage complex partner ecosystems with performance-based compensation models.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience optimizing RPL, EPC, approval rates, and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiation & Relationship Management: Demonstrated success negotiating favorable payout structures and exclusive traffic arrangements.
  • Platform Proficiency: Advanced experience with affiliate tracking and lead platforms such as Decision Cloud, Tekambi, and Aghora, integrated with lending CRMs.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in performance-based lead generation, specifically within personal loans, installment lending, or adjacent consumer finance verticals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with lead aggregators, affiliate networks, and compliance considerations in regulated lending environments.
