Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. The J62 nursing unit for Cardiovascular Surgery Step-down is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular and Thoracic institute. Since 1995, Cleveland Clinic has been recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country for Cardiology.
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Step-down unit, you will provide care to patients receiving coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement and minimally invasive or off-pump coronary bypass surgery. A RN in this role will learn to provide nitroglycerin drips, direct nursing care, administer prescribed medications, prepare patient care plans and perform thorough bedside daily rounds. Work alongside seasoned nurses who are eager to educate and coach new graduates. What to expect during your residency program:
•A success coach will be available 24/7.
•Weekly check-ins to ensure personal and professional goals are met.
•Personal assessments to determine areas for growth and opportunity.
•10 to 12 weeks of orientation along with 10 residency days throughout the first year.
