Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test scenarios and test cases independently and with precision
  • Develop robust automated tests to support high-availability, scalable applications for internal and external users
  • Conduct test execution, log defects, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate closely with scrum and external teams to resolve defects and retest effectively
  • Work iteratively with scrum team members to refine functional requirements, determine testing and automation needs, and provide constructive feedback on functional and technical design solutions 
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement suitable open-source test frameworks and tools to enhance productivity and product quality 
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership by managing end-to-end delivery of modules or components 
  • Flexibility to work late hours or early mornings as required to collaborate with offshore teams 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines 

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software testing and development 
  • Extensive experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, including a preference for Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
  • Expertise in object-oriented programming, primarily in Java, with additional knowledge of Python 
  • Proven experience in testing and automating SOAP and REST services using tools such as ReadyAPI/Postman and REST-Assured
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, and GitHub 
  • Working experience in Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Proficiency in SQL databases, like Cosmos DB 
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, including strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
