General Contractor Sales Coordinator – Remote United States
The General Contractor Sales Coordinator is responsible for activating and enabling the GC consultant and Sales team to implement the strategy of the GC program. This role will coordinate the process of reviewing project documents and finding opportunities for our sales team to pursue. The GC Sales Coordinator will maximize lead generation by helping our team connect to design-builders and construction managers in each territory.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
Learn and implement the Allegion General Contractor strategy
Develop an understanding of the Allegion commercial product portfolio
Establish a working relationship with each GC consultant
Work with the GC rep in each sales office to build a prioritized GC target account list
Review projects and support the process of influencing product positioning for division 8 and division 28 products
Create documents for substitution request opportunities
Coordinate documents required for lead sharing
Learn and utilize Overtur™ to support GC Consultants with project set up
Support target growth account plans and activities in conjunction with each GC rep
Learn and leverage your knowledge of construction project delivery methods
Drive GC team awareness of upcoming projects
What You Need to Succeed:
High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven track record of successful sales coordination involving building supplies and services
Relationship builder
Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written with a bias for action
Knowledge of door industry preferred
Knowledge of construction industry required
Proficient with the MS office suite
Ability to read and comprehend construction documents including plans and specifications
Ability to work at a desk on a computer 8 hours a day
Construction knowledge preferred

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
