We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Auditor to join our innovative LAR Payroll team in Costa Rica. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of payroll operations and automation technology, where you'll implement creative solutions like RPA and Excel macros while ensuring flawless payroll processing across Latin America.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform comprehensive audits for payroll, third-party, and termination payments

• Implement and optimize automated solutions including Excel macros and RPA tools

• Identify trends in payroll data and partner with stakeholders to develop improvement solutions

• Serve as the final quality control point ensuring accuracy and compliance before payroll release

• Lead critical payroll processes such as 13th salary, Christmas bonuses, and profit sharing

• Maintain and update payroll tracking systems and documentation repositories

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary deductions and compensation changes • Participate in governance teams and service line improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English

  • Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Systems or similar

  • 1+ years of payroll experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in:

    • Workday knowledge and automation experience

    • Proficiency in Business Process Management and LEAN methodologies

    • Knowledge of automation tools

    • Microsoft Excel
