Risk Management (RM) is responsible for developing and communicating CBA’s risk management frameworks to allow CBA to take conscious exposures to credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks within the Board approved risk appetite. We achieve this by ensuring the Group has appropriate strategies, policies and frameworks in place to assess, manage and report on risks that may impact great customer outcomes.

Led by the Chapter Lead, the Operational Risk and Compliance (OR&C) Business Chapter forms part of the broader Risk Management Delivery Chapter Area rolling up into the Enterprise Risk function.
We engage with a variety of stakeholders across the Group to deliver technology, process and policy changes that enable better risk management. With a focus on strategic outcomes, we deliver value to internal stakeholders and to our customers through simplification, innovation and continuous improvements of our frameworks, systems and tools to ensure sustainable risk outcomes.
As a key member of the Operational Risk & Compliance (OR&C) Crew, you will be part of the Conflicts Hub squad working with internal stakeholders to support empowering smart risk taking through simple frameworks and tools.
Do Work That Matters
The Senior Product Manager will support the Product Owner, Conflicts Hub and will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, collaborating closely with Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams to drive the development of innovative solutions that align with Crew OKRs. You will manage the product backlog, ensuring the delivery of features meet customer and stakeholder needs. By working closely with stakeholders, including senior leadership, you will translate business objectives into clear product strategies and actionable roadmaps. Your role will involve fostering a collaborative environment, making informed decisions based on data and user feedback, and ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
More specifically, you will be:
Working closely with Business, Design, engineering, internal and external vendor teams to define and execute the business goals and product roadmap.
Translate business requirements into product features and user stories
Collaborating with CBA internal product teams and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality product deliveries and integrations
Bringing an understanding of the Conflicts management processes with SaaS product offering and identifying areas for process optimisation and innovation.
Conducting UAT and Business verification testing for product enhancements and BAU issues.
Participating in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and daily standups.
Proposing product design changes, seeking the appropriate approvals and delivering those changes.
Delivering long term strategic initiatives to ensure Conflicts Hub product continues to meet genuine business needs.
Managing change to continuously improve processes to facilitate the overall user experience.
Responsible for proactively managing risks associated to the product.
We're interested in hearing from people who possess a combination of the below:
Experienced Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, product management and/or process improvement.
Essential - Proven success in developing and executing a defined product strategic roadmap.
Experience in driving projects involving requirement gathering, prioritisation, solution workshopping, implementation, and Post implementation reviews
Strong problem-solving capabilities and be confident with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances.
Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
A real passion for customer centric design thinking and ways of identifying opportunities for driving experience and growth
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate technology solutions into customer benefits
Sound knowledge of operational and compliance risk management frameworks, tools and techniques
Experience working in an agile environment advantageous
Curiosity and humility for continuous learning and growth mindset
