Accounting Manager for the EMEA statutory accounting team
Responsibilities:
Ensure, as part of a wider team, that statutory financial audits and management accounts are completed in an efficient and timely manner for approximately 25 entities, and filing deadlines are met
Work closely with the tax team in preparation of tax provisions for local annual financial statements for EMEA entities. This will include deferred tax assessments
Assist the tax team in dealing with EMEA tax audits as they arise which involves providing necessary accounting information as requested
Work closely with other key stakeholders like the Group's auditors, with internal legal team, intercompany team, and accounts payable team
Work on ad-hoc accounting projects as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified / Chartered Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) - not part qualified
3+ years post qualified accounting experience, within a multinational environment preferable
Experience in statutory reporting or auditing essential
Experience in IFRS
Excellent Analytical skills essential
Knowledge of MS Office products, including Word and PowerPoint
Excellent Excel skills a necessity
Ability to own responsibilities and processes, and to deliver agreed goals and results within the agreed timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in dealing with senior management
US GAAP experience preferable
Knowledge of Oracle Financials or similar accounting ERP preferable
Excellent communication skills both written and in person
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to prioritize work
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Experience in implementing new procedures and re-engineering processes, desirable but not essential
