As a Data Analyst (Power BI / Data Lake), you operate at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy. You transform enterprise data into actionable insights that directly support decision-making across Sales, Finance, and other key business functions.
By translating business requirements into robust analytical solutions, you help leadership teams better understand performance, identify opportunities, and steer commercial strategy. Your work enables data-driven decisions that strengthen business outcomes and long-term growth.
The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports using data from the enterprise data lake.
Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business questions and deliver meaningful insights.
Own and continuously improve recurring sales reporting, including standardisation, automation, and monthly reporting cycles.
Support pricing management by preparing, validating, and maintaining pricing data across relevant systems.
Support Salesforce-related activities, including data uploads, maintenance, and data quality checks.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports, dashboards, and data models.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that influence business performance.
Provide clear, strategic insights and recommendations that support Sales leadership and inform commercial decision-making.
Collaborate with IT to optimise data models, pipelines, architecture, and system integrations.
Document dashboards, data sources, and analytical processes to ensure transparency, scalability, and reusability.
Respond to and prioritise ad hoc data requests from stakeholders across the organisation.
Provide consultancy on solution feasibility with respect to IT architecture, system integration, and market trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
3–7+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or comparable analytics role.
Proven experience translating business requirements into detailed functional or analytical specifications.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and visualisation best practices.
Solid experience working with enterprise data lakes, cloud-based data platforms, and large, complex datasets.
Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT concepts, and SQL-based data work.
Demonstrated ability to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior business stakeholders.
Experience supporting Sales, Finance, or other commercial functions is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Azure-based environments (e.g. Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks) or comparable cloud platforms is an advantage.
Understanding of forecasting methodologies, KPI frameworks, and performance management concepts.
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with confidence to advise on system feasibility, data architecture, and analytics best practices.
