We are looking for a passionate semi-conductor manufacturing cost manager.The CM Quotation Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our company is producing with the lowest total cost to deliver the most cost-competitive and high-performance products to customers and consumers all over the world. In this role, you will need to work with cross-function teams to manage the BOM and manufacturing cost of the board, correctly follow the defined cost models, and dig out potential cost-saving opportunities with Ops-Engineering and CMs through creative ideas on manufacturing process optimization.
What you'll be doing:
Handle timely and accurate CM product cost quotation review, tracking and system uploading in order to drive CM cost visibility and PO price availability;
Conduct new product RFQ with CM, drive and work closely with cross-function teams BOM cost, manufacturing process/cost, NRE, etc. verification;
Be the focal point of any CM cost-related issues on the assigned products, drive the resolution of issues impacting cost quotation delta or any dispute in operation execution;
Set up and maintain cost models to cover all types of CM cost, drive cost analysis and ensure cost predictability to support high-level decisions and investment POR;
Negotiate with CM on labor, OH and other non-material cost rates and drive alignment on corresponding CM Service level agreement;
Constantly drive CM performance improvement on quotation accuracy, on time availability and cost-saving initiatives related KPIs;
What we need to see:
Industrial and Management Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in cost or related program management in a semi-conductor manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-tech or computer-related industry; Any supply chain management background is also a plus.
Excellent modeling and analytical skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. SAP, Tableau, Agile or similar data visualization tools or any RPA program development skills or experience are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, willing to take the leadership to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and any un-precedented challenges;
Be able to be flexible, willing to work in a high-pressure environment, and adaptive in a rapidly changing situation by constantly learning and absorbing new things.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English, including the ability to present to management, are required.
