Overview:

  • Full Time, Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2025

  • HEW 6 + 17% of superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangement

  • Based at the Melbourne City campus, however, may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University or Defence locations. 

About the Position
The Course Coordinator plays a crucial role within the RMIT team, contributing to the delivery of the Australian Defence Logistics College capability to Defence. As a key member of a small, yet impactful team led by the Enabling Services Manager, this role is fundamental to the project's success. Daily tasks predominantly center around precise data entry for course paneling and coordination, including the dispatch of joining instructions. Close collaboration with other Course Coordinators, the LMS Coordinator, the Administrative Support Officer, and the Senior Instructor – Fuels is essential in fulfilling the requirements of this role.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Experience and expertise as part of a program delivery team with the Australian Defence Force/ Department of Defence

  • Attention to detail in data entry and processing personal information

  • Knowledge and understanding of quality and compliance related to programs in Defence

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in Defence Training System design, development or delivery

  • Strong interpersonal skills, developed from working in successful multi-disciplinary teams

  • Knowledge and understanding of the vocational education and training sector is helpful

  • Flexible and agile approach to work priorities and project deliverable deadlines

  • Security clearance at NV1 level is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification and/or relevant OHS, customer service and administration experience.
