Leidos is hiring for an Interactive Graphics Developer Team Lead in Washington, DCA. Team leads are technical leads for contractor personnel in their functional area and SMEs in their labor categories. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide senior-level expertise to team members, complete complicated or complex tasks independently, and lead or direct the work of contractor personnel assigned to their functional area. 
  • Work collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances / conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions. 
  • Provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques. 
  • Use Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, Microsoft 365, and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required. Candidate will be subject to a Polygraph.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. 
  • In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to graphic design and development field with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.

Favorable if you have:

  • Experience leading teams of 10-20 or more employees.
  • Experience leading T&M TO contracts, as well as performance-based contracts
  • Ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive intelligence production, graphic design, web development, and data science and related technologies.
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Experience in Graphic Design and Multimedia production, Web Development, Business Analytics.
  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in an area related to the Graphics Design field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to Graphic Design or a related fine arts field, from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
