Job Description

• Take complete responsibility for entire Powder Coating Booth operations, including 5S implementation (Step 1 – Sort & Step 2 – Set in Order).
• Ensure safety compliance across the entire powder coating booth and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain Electrostatic Powder Coating Guns, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
• Perform and update the Daily Maintenance Checklist for the powder coating booth and equipment.
• Maintain and manage jigs, templates, hooks, and fixtures used in powder coating operations.
• Monitor and control recycled powder percentage, ensuring effective recovery and removal of wastage.
• Follow work instructions to maintain accurate powder mixing ratios.
• Ensure quality by monitoring and performing key process parameter checks, including:
  • Impact Test
  • Scratch Test
  • DFT (Dry Film Thickness) Test
  • Gloss Level Test
  • Bend Test
• Follow proper chemical handling procedures for powders and pretreatment chemicals.
