About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer who’s excited by simplifying complexity and driven to help make great multi-channel customer experiences. We have a bold vision to empower more Australians to achieve home ownership and ensure a sustainable and resilient future.

In this role, you’ll lead design for reimagining how we support our brokers and homeowners, shaping strategy, crafting seamless user journeys, and delivering elegant, scalable UI solutions. You’ll be a part of a cross-functional Crew and help connect the dots across Squads. You’ll influence senior stakeholders, mentor peers, and bring a strong user-centred voice to every conversation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design for a mission-critical initiative.
  • Rapidly define problems and iterate toward validated, high-quality solutions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Design intuitive, efficient workflows for staff and broker users.
  • Plan and facilitate user research, testing, and insight synthesis.
  • Translate complex business and system requirements into clear experiences.
  • Use and evolve the design system for scalable, accessible delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers using AI-enabled tooling.
  • Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to drive clarity and momentum.
  • Contribute to team strategy and roadmap decisions with insight-led thinking.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years designing complex digital products or operational platforms.
  • Proven end-to-end design discovery and delivery experience.
  • Strong interaction design, usability, and information architecture expertise.
  • Advanced Figma capability across flows, UI, and interactive prototypes.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineers for fast-paced delivery
  • Ability to simplify complex operational workflows into intuitive solutions.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder alignment capability.
  • Metrics-driven mindset with experimentation and validation experience.
  • Resilience and composure in challenging, evolving team environments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, craft excellence, and impact.
