We are seeking a dynamic Workday Analyst for a 1-year contract to support the development and deployment of our Workday platform, focusing on HCM Core. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of our People Process & Technology team and ensure a seamless Workday experience for all users.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of People Process & Technology, you will collaborate closely with business COEs and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful Workday HCM solutions. Your role will involve ensuring system integrity, providing configuration support, conducting testing, and offering training and troubleshooting to optimize system performance.

As a Workday subject matter expert, you will be a primary point of contact for users, guiding them through enhancements, changes, and the daily operation of the Workday environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of Workday solutions across multiple HR data domains, focusing on HCM.
  • Utilize your expertise in Workday features and functions to enhance user experience, boost productivity, and ensure long-term system sustainability.
  • Analyze strategic problems, interpret data, and provide expert insights and recommendations.
  • Propose and implement solutions based on issue analysis and the impact on business processes.
  • Develop solutions that align with business strategies and stakeholder needs, ensuring they provide value and measurable results.
  • Promote automation, self-service tools, and foster a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
  • Ensure that configuration changes and system enhancements are tested thoroughly to meet business needs.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic analytics and reporting initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain operational procedures related HCM, and other modules as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Independently manage non-routine situations, exercising judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues.
  • Take on broader responsibilities or accountabilities as needed to support team goals.

Your Recipe for Success:

  • 3-5 years of Workday experience across multiple HR disciplines, along with a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Workday HCM, particularly around business processes
  • Strong project management skills, with proven experience leading complex HR technology initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to influence design decisions and develop solutions based on Workday capabilities and business needs.
