About the Role

Support Group-wide initiative:
- Agency Executive (AE) Capability Development: Support LBUs to drive AE capability development from onboarding to long-term performance; partner with LBU Heads of Training (HOTs) and their teams to ensure execution of Learning & Development (L&D) roadmaps; collaborate with Group Distribution’s L&D team.
- Provide customized support to LBUs with on-the-ground presence as appropriate.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Overall

  • Work with GAD BU business partners, LBU CAOs and local agency teams to support AE capability development initiatives.
  • Share expertise and best practices in relevant agency areas.

AE Capability Development

  • Provide input to AE training program design
  • Conduct training for AEs in LBUs
  • Follow up periodically to check on progress and performance after training
  • Mentor AEs and provide coaching advice
  • Support AEs to implement their learnings in Agency Management practices as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • Master’s degree appreciated, but not necessary

Experience

  • Prior insurance industry experience and Agency experience mandatory.
  • Prior experience in Training & Development preferred.
  • At least 10-year work experience.
  • Asian regional experience appreciated, but not necessary

Special skills

  • Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills.
  • Broad communications spectrum: ability to engage with C-level suite and agency management staff.
  • Ability to influence, lead and transfer skills to LBU teams
