For Power Division in Prague we are looking for CFD Engineer (Thermal Systems & Innovation).
 

This role is the technical backbone for the simulation of HVAC components, compressors, and heat exchangers. You will lead the physical validation of complex multiphase flows (boiling/evaporation) and navigate the department's strategic software migration from STAR-CCM+ to Ansys Fluent.

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, or Applied Mathematics.

• Significant professional experience in CFD, specifically for internal aerodynamics, turbomachinery, or multiphase flows.

• Expertise in simulating Boiling, Evaporation, and Lubrication/Oil Separation.

• Proficiency in Siemens STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent.

• Experience with CATIA for geometry preparation.

• Fluent in English (Technical reporting and collaboration).

Preferred Advantages

• Programming & Scripting: * Proficiency in Java (for STAR-CCM+ automation) or Python (for Fluent/Converge and data analysis).

• AI & Machine Learning in CAE: * Familiarity with building Surrogate Models or Neural Networks to accelerate simulation results.

  • Knowledge of Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) or Reduced Order Modeling (ROM).

• Optimization & Generative Design: * Experience with Adjoint Solvers or Topology Optimization for fluid flow.

  • Use of generative design tools to evolve high-efficiency heat exchanger geometries.

• Dynamic Simulation: * Experience with Converge CFD, particularly for moving parts in A/C compressors.
