Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a SPY-6 Integration & Test Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead, responsible for all System Integration, Sell off and flight test activities across all SPY-6 programs.  The I&T CPT Lead is the SPY-6 engineering team’s interface to Engineering Directorates and one of the most senior engineering representatives on the SPY-6 program leadership team.  These activities include, but not limited to Estimate at Completion (EACs), Center level proposal support, staffing projections and program monthly tracking.  Programmatically the SPY-6 I&T CPT Lead is part of the core team that creates the definition of and handles the technical execution of SPY-6 growth paths. Ensures technical alignment across teams, and supports program growth and execution in line with RTX’s objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Managing the execution of all scope of work assigned to the SPY-6 I&T CPT, determining the allocation of personnel within the team to perform that work, and reviewing and approving any I&T contract deliverables before delivery to the customer.
  • Supporting SPY-6 growth through proposal development and the deployment and continual improvement of people, processes and tools.
  • Representing the interests of the Center on the program.  Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products that include integration plans, integration information sheets, test plans, verification items, analysis scripts, results modules, Flight Test pre-mission analysis results, test procedures and mission test reports.
  • Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Business Development, Center Managers, and Business Area VPs to achieve Business objectives.
  • Responsible for Interface and Coordination with Internal and External Organizations on SPY-6 integration and test planning, coordination, execution and reporting activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper test site support is provided to SPY-6 Near Field, Far Field, Test Site and Shipyard locations.
  • Identification, establishment and implementation of the best practices, lessons learned and consistency across the Systems Engineering test teams. This includes common tool development for automated Test and automated analysis as we drive towards the corporate initiatives of DevOps and MBSE. 
  • Performing special projects as assigned by the Integration & Test Lead.
  • Oversite of applicable phases of the Gate process for all SPY-6 programs to maximize business performance.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system requirements, system verification, system test, and/or validation.
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management Value System).
  • Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
  • Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/ Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, and/or bids/proposals.

Qualifications We Prefer  

  • Level 6 or higher PMX certification.
  • Competitive Capture Volume lead or proposal lead.
  • Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated IPT Leadership / program management experience / business experience Raytheon (R6s) Six Sigma Expert.
  • Experience leading program initiatives, developing talent, driving performance, and change management.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
