Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Sales Operations Manager oversees the entire sales operations process to ensure sales teams meet their quotas and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, adept at leveraging data to optimize sales processes and drive continuous improvement. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and provide insightful reporting on sales performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Sales Quotas: Vigilantly track and monitor sales quotas to ensure team members are meeting their targets, providing timely interventions and support as needed.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Design and implement effective sales quota strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets, ensuring the scalability and sustainability of sales efforts.
  • Support Sales Leadership: Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership to develop compelling and informative PowerPoint presentations for Executive leadership.
  • Manage Sales Processes: Oversee and refine the sales process from lead generation through to the closing of deals, ensuring a seamless and efficient journey for both sales teams and customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure all efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and Insights: Regularly produce detailed reports and provide actionable insights on sales performance metrics, utilizing these to inform strategic decisions and drive sales improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing analysis of sales operations, identifying opportunities for optimization through data analysis and process enhancements.
  • People Leader: This role will have 1-2 direct reports

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Salesforce Experience: Proficiency in using Salesforce for managing sales operations and CRM.
  • Alteryx Experience: Experience with Alteryx for data blending and advanced analytics.
  • Tableau & Relational Database Experience: Skilled in utilizing Tableau and relational databases for data visualization and business intelligence.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or similar roles, with a proven track record of driving sales performance and process improvements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
