What you will do

Despatcher is a key role reporting to the Business Support  & Operations Excellence Director and is responsible for organizing technicians’ field work.  He/she is the right hand of Operations Manager on the ground, taking care of the scheduling and monitoring team performance and job delivery.

How you will do it

As a Despatcher, your responsibilities will be:

• Scheduling jobs for around 40 technicians and dispatching vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.
• Creating jobs in the system and communicating with the Operations team.
• Coordinating with multiple departments and customers for successful job execution.
• Following up on timesheet submission, making sure that all 40 technicians have submitted their timesheets and service reports on a weekly basis.
• Following up on contract billing and ensuring  it is done accurately and timely.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives
• Analyzing and consolidating various reports using Excel

What we look for

Required:

• University degree or diploma
• Ability to deal with multiple urgent situations, and co-ordinate for quick resolution without supervision
• High personal discipline and ability to monitor and drive team performance
• Attention to detail
• Good Excel and numerical skills
• Work experience of min. 3-5 years in a similar role
