We are seeking a Senior Research Fellow to join the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT). The primary focus of this role is on advanced quantum computation, particularly in the generation of multi-qubit entangled states and the exploration of their applications in quantum applications.

As a Senior Research Fellow, you will be expected to lead research initiatives, contribute to the design and execution of complex experiments or simulations, and mentor junior researchers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute research projects related to quantum computation, particularly the generation and control of multi-qubit entangled states.

• Develop and implement theoretical models and/or experimental protocols to explore practical quantum applications.

• Supervise and mentor junior researchers.

• Write and contribute to grant proposals and progress reports.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within CQT and with external academic and industry partners.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong focus on quantum technologies.

• At least 4 years of relevant postdoctoral research experience.

• Proven track record of publications in reputable journals and/or contributions to leading quantum research projects.

• Strong theoretical and/or experimental background in quantum information, quantum optics, or related fields.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and institutions.
