  • Manage the planning team to ensure schedules are accurate, achievable, and aligned to material availability, capacity, and customer commitments.

  • Approve quantities, schedules, and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt, and issuance of production material requirements.

  • Review and develop production planning procedures; identify and implement improvements to scheduling systems, ERP workflows, and dispatching practices using SAP, MES, and related tools.

  • Communicate schedule risks, status, and recovery plans to senior operations leadership in a timely and structured manner; drive resolution of planning conflicts across functions.

Logistics & Material Flow Oversight  |  15%

  • Oversee production logistics operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and internal material movement to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials to and from the production floor.

  • Manage the Logistics/Shipping Supervisor and associated team; set expectations for accuracy, throughput, and compliance with shipping, receiving, and inventory handling procedures.

  • Coordinate with materials and supply chain functions on inventory control, purchasing support, and inbound/outbound shipment alignment to prevent production disruptions.

  • Monitor WMS and SAP inventory data to ensure accuracy of on-hand quantities, locations, and material status; drive cycle count compliance and discrepancy resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable shipping regulations, export control requirements, and customer packaging and labeling specifications.

Quality Compliance & Process Adherence  |  15%

  • Enforce adherence to operating procedures, control plans, and process specifications across all assigned production areas; ensure deviations are escalated and documented through the NCR/NCMR process.
