Role: Total Rewards Specialist, Associate Director

Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (“KBRA”), a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (“NRSRO”) is seeking a dynamic total rewards specialist who will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing the company’s global total rewards strategy. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, keen on collaboration and has a strong work ethic. This position will be based out of our New York office, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.

 

About the Team

Our Human Resources Department is an integral function responsible for the overall dynamic employee experience at KBRA. This role reports to the Head of Human Resources and will partner closely with all members of the Human Resources team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the compensation planning process (merit salary increases and incentive pay)
  • Contribute to cost and impact analysis, providing recommendations and strategies on incentive compensation based on market trends
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR colleagues regarding compensation data, workflows, projects and processes
  • Perform detailed job analysis and benchmarking to prepare recommendations on job offers, promotions, salary grades and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Maintain and update salary and incentive pay in HRIS
  • Manage the development, implementation and administration of employee benefit plans, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, health, life, disability and 401(k)
  • Plan, implement and evaluate wellness programs; coordinate with key partners and vendors on programs, projects and initiatives
  • Develop and lead employee benefits education sessions for Open Enrollment and New Hire Orientation, including the preparation of materials
  • Serve as a regular contact for staff, internal HR, insurance vendors and/or third-party administrators
  • Proactively identify process improvements to increase efficiencies and productivity in total rewards program administration

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-6 years of related compensation and benefits experience
  • Experience with Charthop and ADP preferred
  • Experience partnering with benefits brokers and vendors
  • Familiarity with global compensation practices and ability to navigate international regulatory environments a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Computer proficiency with advanced technical skill in Excel
  • Financial services or related industries strongly preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities
  • Actively identifies problems and opportunities for change and implements solutions where appropriate

 

Salary Range

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
