Position Summary
An Operations Team Member is responsible for setting up and maintaining all areas of U.S. Bank Stadium
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting up and striking all U.S. Bank Stadium events including, but not limited to, NFL Football games, NCAA basketball, NCAA and High School baseball, concerts, exhibition shows, conventions, etc. This includes building stages, riser platforms, portable bleachers, field covering, steps, railing installation, field goal posts, foul poles, fencing, soccer nets, portable dugouts, bases as well as any other event related set up needs in and adjacent to the stadium
- Converting Club and field areas from game day set to meetings, banquets, galas, etc. including table and chair set up / striking
- General maintenance of equipment used in setting up and maintaining events
- Maintain the football turf including infill prep and painting of various logos and markings as well as removal and conversion to soccer, baseball, etc.
- Grounds keeping in and around U.S. Bank Stadium including some landscaping and snow removal
- General building maintenance, both preventative and corrective, as assigned. General repair and maintenance skills preferred.
- Cleaning duties as necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others while working
- Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting and walking. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Operate equipment necessary to complete daily tasks such as forklifts, turf maintenance equipment, floor scrubbing machines, snow removal equipment, etc.
- Ability to work inside or outside environments as necessary
- Willingness to learn new skills
Minimum Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Experience in similar facility setting and NFL field experience preferred
- Forklift, Bobcat, cleaning machine experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Other Qualifications
- Must be age 18 or older.
- Nice, warm and courteous.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming.
- Able to stand for long periods of time. Walk long distances, and climb stairs.
