Project Role Description : Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management.

Summary: As a Mechanical Engineering Practitioner, you will design, analyze, and build structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes. A strategic aerospace engineering leader specializing in rotary wing platforms, with a strong track record in driving technical delivery, innovation, and client satisfaction. Experienced in shaping engineering processes, delivery governance, and team capability development. Proven ability to influence design and compliance strategies through direct engagement with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Passionate about digital transformation, with a focus on advancing MBSE, MBD, and digital continuity across the product lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: • Design and develop primary and secondary structural components (metallic and composite) for rotary-wing aircraft, ensuring compliance with airworthiness & performance standards and specific design guidelines. • Apply aircraft structural design principles, including load path analysis, material selection, and manufacturability considerations. • Create and manage detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using tools such as CATIA or Siemens NX, ensuring design accuracy and intent. • Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accurate release and configuration management through PLM systems like Teamcenter or Windchill. • Interpret technical requirements and execute assigned tasks within defined timelines, ensuring high-quality output with minimal errors. • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, providing regular updates to the team lead or focal, and contributing to a cohesive design process. • Analyse design challenges and propose optimal engineering solutions aligned with project goals and constraints. Professional & Technical Skills: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BE/M.Tech) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering. • Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the Aerostructures domain, with a strong focus on aircraft structural design and development. • Proficient in 3D and 2D modelling, assembly, and installation of aircraft structural components—including machined, sheet metal and composite parts. • Strong grasp of aerospace materials, heat and surface treatment processes and structural fasteners. • Solid understanding of aircraft structural design principles, including load path considerations, material behaviour, and manufacturability. • Proficiency in UG NX and Teamcenter is essential. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in the Aerostructures domain, with a strong focus on aircraft structural design and development. - This position is based at client location Bengaluru and 6 days a workweek requiring 8 working hours per day and The role is strictly on-site and requires physical presence at the client’s office in Bangalore. .- A B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace engineering is required
