Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Applicant is looking for a longterm job opportunity
• Has some experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive and supportive team player
• Able to lift 40lbs, bend and stand for long lengths
• Understand the importance of a clean facility
• Will work with the team to help keep clean and organized

Copper Basin Veterinary Clinic is small animal veterinary clinic located in beautiful McCaysville, GA. McCaysville is a charming mountain town, located near the Tennessee/Georgia/NC borders. We are actively seeking an experienced veterinary assistant with a positive attitude looking to make a career in veterinary medicine. Our clinic is a fast-paced, full-service clinic that prides itself on the compassionate care of our patients and our community.
 

The ideal candidate will be confident and excited about working with animals, their owners, and the current team at Copper Basin. We are willing to train up the right candidate. The candidate we are looking for will have a positive attitude and a growth mindset. One that is looking for longevity and willing to learn for advancement. This candidate will be able to multi-task, work well with others or alone, understand the importance of proper animal handling, be able to lift 40lbs and be able to stand and bend for long periods of time.
