Job Description:

J&J IM is recruiting for a Health Care Compliance Manager reporting to the HCC Director IM Italy and to be based in Milan, Italy.

Purpose

Serves as a Health Care Compliance Manager for Innovative Medicine EMEA. Supports the local implementation and management of the Health Care Compliance (HCC) program for the Innovative Medicine Italy. The HCC Manager ensures business practices and activities align with related J&J internal guidelines, local laws and regulations, and anti-corruption laws including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The HCC Manager will engage as a strategic business partner and advisor, to assure that a culture of compliance and accountability is inherent in day-to-day business.

You will be responsible for:

• Main contact point for business stakeholders giving HCC guidance and advice on related projects and activities
• Review and approval of events on iConnect and exceptions management
• Overseeing guidance (including but not limited, localization of policies and SOPs), education, training, and regular communications on HCC to all covered employees.
• Third Party Intermediary (TPI) and Business Sponsors management
• Work with Certified Professional Coder local monitoring plan/needs. Proposing updates/improvements to detected gaps.
• Conducting self-assessment and risk assessment to detect process gaps & inconsistencies, including Risk Review.
• Preparation of audits and management of inquiries related to investigations, etc
• Management Action Plans development and execution, particularly in response to investigations of a critical nature.
• Back-Up of the HCC Director / HCCO

Qualifications / Requirements:

• BA/BS, advanced degree or equivalent
• Background may include Compliance, Finance, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, experience in project management is preferred.
• Relevant experience in similar role within pharma/medtech sector
• Fluent knowledge of Italian (local language) and English
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards for Italy.
• Strong communication, organizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to influence business decisions and business partners.
• Ability to take analyze complex business situations and collaborate to develop solutions, considering applicable guidance and regulations.
• Proven track record in delivering results
• Committed team player.
• Deals well with ambiguity and demonstrates strong organizational, process and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business and effective negotiating skills are essential.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents would be an advantage.
• Understands and masters the J&J Credo based culture.
