Job Title: Accounts and Office Administrator

Salary:  £25,000 - £27,500 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Location: Spinney Vets, Kettering Road

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 38.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible.

Spinney Vets is looking for a full time, experienced accounts and office administrator to join our friendly Client Care team.

Spinney Vets Kettering Road is a small animal RCVS-accredited practice which has serviced the veterinary needs of companion animals in Northampton for over 50 years.

Our team is highly skilled and friendly with an emphasis on patient and client care.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Reconciliation of daily sales, petty cash, online payments, bank statements etc

  • Banking and till float

  • Customer accounts, invoicing and debt management

  • Preparing reports

  • Pet Health Club memberships administration

  • Managing Health & Safety compliance

  • Arranging routine maintenance and repairs,

  • Scanning/filing of documents

  • Ordering stationary supplies

  • Incoming/outgoing post and franking

  • Other duties as required by management


Experience

  • Previous accounts administration experience is essential

  • Previous experience in a Veterinary Practice environment is desirable but not essential

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance is desirable

  • Great attention to detail
