Job Description

Serviceminded IT-Supporter

Are you outgoing, service-minded and independent? Are you passionate about IT support? And do you want to be part of both contributing to the daily operations and continuing to develop our IT department? Then you might be our new IT supporter.

Things are moving fast as CUBIC is in an exciting development. We are therefore looking for a skilled employee for our IT department to provide daily international IT support to our colleagues across the Group. The IT department consists of 6 skilled employees based in Brønderslev. Reporting to our IT Manager, you will be part of our helpdesk, which provides first and second level support to all of the company's 900 users, both face to face, and remotely/by phone.


About the job:

The job is versatile, and you will have a very outgoing role with a large contact surface in a dynamic environment. Your tasks will range widely and include:

  • Follow-up and resolution of incoming inquiries and tasks through ServiceDesk (Zendesk)
  • Provisioning hardware and software on workstations and mobile devices. Including preparation and setup of PCs, hand scanners, mobile phones, printers and other hardware
  • Building and maintaining our FAQ for the organization's users
  • Creating and maintaining users in AD, AAD and other systems used in the organization
  • Participation in the continuous development of internal systems, processes and workflows as well as digitalization of these.


Since not all IT tasks can be completed within normal operating hours, you will occasionally be needed outside normal working hours.

The IT department is characterized by providing a good and efficient service. It is therefore expected that you are service-minded and outgoing by nature. You radiate accommodating, but are good at distinguishing between "need and nice" and prioritize tasks and time consumption in relation to that. In addition, it is crucial that you are energetic, solution-oriented and flexible.

Your profile:

We imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant IT education and work experience
  • Good insight into Microsoft platform, including Windows OS, O365, Sharepoint, Teams, etc
  • Has a high service gene
  • Can catch the balls while they are still hanging in the air
  • Can understand business and IT technical issues and explain these to colleagues and users
  • Can work independently, but thrives on being part of a team
  • You speak and write English
