About the unit 

4H is a 22 bed unit that cares for a variety of medical and surgical patients, specializing in digestive diseases.  Our patient population is an even mix of medical and surgical cases, where you will see colorectal and bariatric surgical patients as well as bowel obstruction, kidney failure, cellulitis, and falls.  We are an accredited bariatric surgery center that focuses on continuous quality improvement for our patients.  We have a dedicated team that is committed to providing a high level of care to help enhance our patients and families’ lives.

Scope of work 

Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards. Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment. Performs computer entry, schedules tests/procedures, processes orders, and performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame. 

Schedule

Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Week 4: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Hours

Monday-Friday: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Saturday/Sunday: 6:30am - 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 

  • 2 Years of relevant work experience Preferred
