C.H. Robinson is looking to hire an Associate Global Forwarding Agent. In this role, you will play a vital role in our entry-level modal operations team. Your focus will be on acquiring essential operational knowledge and immersing yourself in industry-specific concepts and terminology that drive global trade. In this dynamic role, you will not only align with our company’s mission and values, but also cultivate skills that re pivotal in our sector and organization. Alongside skill enhancement, you’ll dive into real-world experience by managing customer accounts of diverse size, fueling your personal and professional growth within our thriving company. We are looking for someone who is eager to excel, learn, and contribute to the heartbeat of global forwarding. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize foundational industry knowledge to promptly address customer inquiries

  • Orchestrate and manage shipment tasks to align with customer operating procedures

  • Uphold data accuracy throughout shipments, including verifying shipment particulars, INCOterms, routing, dates, documentation, etc.

  • Skillfully manage customer quotes, showcasing your expertise in meeting diverse client needs

  • Cultivate clear, timely, and impactful communication with Customers, C.H. Robinson offices, Agents, and Outside Vendors

  • Harness the potential of C.H. Robinson’s expansive network of departments, support teams, and leadership to forge valuable connections

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

  • Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs

  • High level of attention to detail
