Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic team member to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. The successful applicant is organized, has the ability to multi-task and can work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer to the proper agency person or department. 
  • Receive, open, sort and distribute daily incoming mail/deliveries/faxes.
  • Prepare outgoing mail/packages.
  • Cordially greet visitors, offer refreshments and direct to the appropriate person/area.
  • Setup and cleanup for internal events/meetings and order food catering when requested by management.
  • Maintain front desk area and all office common areas and ensure they are tidy, presentable and fully stocked.  
  • Receive and stock all office supplies in the supply closets, copy rooms, kitchen and storage rooms and ensure that all areas are kept neat/organized.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and inform management when items are low.
  • Occasionally assist with decorating reception area for holidays or events and take down decorations when the holiday is complete.
  • Provide reception desk training to co-workers when required.
  • Understand an overview of the various products and industries Acrisure offers.
  • Pick up and Drop off Mail at post office when needed.
  • Help Clients with Billing questions
  • Assume other job responsibilities and a variety of administrative duties as assigned by management or NY Platform leadership.

Pay Details:

Hourly: $20 - $25
