The Red Hat OpenStack Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer with an interest in hybrid cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service to join our Red Hat OpenStack Services on Openshift team. In this role, you will work as part of a distributed team, both on your own and in close collaboration and regular communication with other team members and upstream developers. Ideally, you will need to be passionate about innovative software development and open source.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift packaging, testing, and release process
• Assist in the maintenance of any packages, containers and operators which are part of Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift or related channels as required
• Assist with bug triage
• Assist with building out infrastructure for both scale out and up of Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift deployments
• Learning the Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift release processes and technologies

• Experience with Agile Development practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environments

• Familiarity and comfort using AI
