£38,850 per Annum plus company van and fuel card

Full time - Permanent – 42.5hrs per week

About the role

We are now seeking a Responsive Repairs Supervisor to join our team; Delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

As a Supervisor you will be supporting residents by overseeing a team of directly employed multi-trade operatives and subcontracted specialists carrying out maintenance works across our portfolio of properties. You will be providing support to our in-house team of planners diarising the work for our operatives. Your main responsibility will be for costing all jobs for approval, seeing jobs through remotely or on site and costing jobs through to the point of invoicing, with support along the way for your team to keep our residents happy and the jobs on track.

You’ll need previous experience and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to excel in this role, meeting new people and delivering high standards of work and service are key. Our sub office is based in Eastbourne, and you'll be expected to cover the Eastbourne area. After probation, for the right candidate who has demonstrated the ability to self-propel and forward plan there is the potential to work based from our client’s new office in Eastbourne

Role Criteria – essential

  • Supervision experience
  • Understanding of building maintenance
  • Good work ethic
  • Time management skills
  • Able to relate at all levels (DLO, Client and Customer)
  • A strong awareness of H&S in the workplace
  • Full UK driving licence

Role Criteria – desirable

  • Have experience with working with NHF SORs
  • Hold a basic scaffold inspection qualification and or a PASMA qualification
