Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of medium-voltage motors and drive-based systems within customized Energy Efficiency applications for industrial customers, in alignment with the division strategy. You will work toward meeting both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. You will also play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.


This role contributes to the Motion High Power Division in Northern, collaborating closely with stakeholders involved in customized energy‑efficiency industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers regarding delivery timelines, payment terms, and general terms and conditions, in alignment with ABB’s offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring effective marketing activities and clearly communicating the value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities within the designated segment.
  • Managing administrative procedures throughout the sales process and supporting cash collection and project management activities when needed.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in medium‑voltage motors, drives, and related systems.
  • Experience in project sales within the industrial market.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), Installed Base (IB) databases, and digital service platforms.
  • Strong customer orientation with a passion for sustainability, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Expertise in energy‑efficiency solutions, and sales strategies related to medium‑voltage motors and drive‑based systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
