RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is located in the beautiful Shark Bay World Heritage Area, alongside the picturesque Francois Peron National Park. Our resort is internationally renowned for the friendly dolphins that visit the bay daily.
The resort caters for up to 1,200 guests and offers a range of accommodation options including two- and three-bedroom self-contained villas, hotel-style rooms, budget accommodation, dormitories and powered/unpowered campsites. Additionally, there are two outdoor pools, a general store and gift shop, the Boughshed Restaurant and the recently renovated Monkey Bar.
We are currently looking for a full-time Duty Manager to join our team! This role would suit a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth - accommodation and meals are available at a reduced cost allowing the right candidate to live and work on-site.

What will you be doing?
As Duty Manager, you will step into a hands-on operational role which includes the following responsibilities:
Working with Heads of Department to ensure we are offering an outstanding customer experience and responding to any guest issues
Assisting all Departments and Heads of Department as required
Meeting and greeting guests at the Shark Bay Airport and transporting them to the resort
Assisting with the check-in process and ensuring coaches and groups are assisted with luggage and accommodation requirements
Ensuring our venue standards are met in regard to venue cleanliness and presentation
Closing the Monkey Bar and Boughshed Restaurant each evening
Overseeing the safety and security of all guests, team members and resort assets
Conducting regular nightly patrols of the property, managing the night attendants and assisting guests
Responsibility of the afterhours phone and emergency call outs
What are we looking for in you?
Experience in similar role in accommodation, hospitality, tourism or related industry
Background in managing food and beverage, guest reservations, grounds and maintenance or housekeeping is highly desirable
Understanding of a hotel Property Management System/s (NewBook experience highly desirable)
Willing to commit to hours required: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (1 hour break) and the management of the afterhours call out phone
Understanding of workplace Health & Safety compliance
Driver's Licence and willingness to obtain a Passenger Transport Licence
First Aid and Approved Managers' Certificate, or willingness to obtain
