Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products. You will be responsible for configuring services running on various platforms and implementing technology at the operating system-level. Your role will involve L1 and L2 troubleshooting and providing hardware/software support. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure timely resolution of technical issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system and software problems. - Perform system and software installations, upgrades, and patches. - Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Document technical procedures and guidelines for reference and training purposes. 1) Hands on experience in Unix, windows servers, databases patch management 2) Good experience on PowerShell/ Bash/Korn/ Python/Ansible scripting, terraform java, ITSM process, Cloud services, virtualization, Network, Database components 3) Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, latest practices and techniques in order to deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team 4) Experience in developing testing infrastructure, test automation frameworks or evaluating features in order to create complex test scenarios 5) Identify tools and technologies to be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in-line with the skillset of the team. 6) Design and develop the test automation framework, harness and code libraries to enable the team to both use and enhance them across successive projects. 7) In depth knowledge in current industry-wide testing techniques, tools and methodologies 8) project management skills including effective communication between the team and Client- close collaboration with other roles and stakeholders 9) Experienced in software analysis and design 10) Solid background in software quality and testing 11) Strong understanding of functional and non functional testing. 12)Profound coding and test automation skills. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Quality Assurance. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Infrastructure Penetration Testing. - Strong understanding of system and software testing methodologies. - Knowledge of quality assurance principles and best practices. - Experience in conducting system and software audits. - Familiarity with network and server configurations. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • 3.3 + years of relevant experience in Functional Testing and Tools like (JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM). • Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data. • Carry out testing as per the defined procedures. • Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. • Report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. • Knowledge on Agile methodology. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong active listening, facilitation and presentation skills. • Strong knowledge of IT software development life cycle. • Strong knowledge of QA testing methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Quality Assurance. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
