Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our team, ensuring collaborative and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions. You will work closely with the product development team to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent achievement of objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the team. - Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices. - Ensure the team collaborates efficiently to deliver high-quality products. - Work with the Product Developer to prioritize the product backlog. - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - identify and resolve obstacles hindering the team’s progress. - Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Track KPIs to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time. - Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles. Technical Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. - Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices. - General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying. - Prior experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence. - Ability to create dashboards on Jira and share timely reports with stakeholders. Professional Attributes: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Proven ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). - SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
