BCMA in Budapest covers portfolio of the largest local client groups and provides services for these clients both in Hungary and globally.

Citi offers a unique opportunity to join as Analyst in the Corporate Banking team in Budapest and work closely with the banking team on the development and maintenance of client relationships with large corporates, financial institutions and public sector organizations. In this role you will play a meaningful role in supporting client relationship management and transaction execution, and will be able to gain valuable knowledge and experience in a truly global Bank. You are expected to have strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work on multiple tasks/projects and adhere to tight deadlines.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Collaborate within the Corporate Banking team, as well as with product, risk and other partners on various tasks related to client relationship management and transaction execution

  • Assist in the development of tailor-made financing structures, perform transaction due diligence, draft proposal materials and marketing documents

  • Conduct financial analysis and build financial models on existing and prospective clients

  • Support client onboarding and servicing, while meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements and adhering to the highest ethical standards

  • Perform regular monitoring of credit exposures, clients’ adherence to financial covenants and collateral obligations

What we are looking for?

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience

  • University degree

  • Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and strong understanding of financial statements

  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of motivation and commercial mindset

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Fluent in both English and Hungarian
