What you'll do...

Position: Manager I, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: People Development: Coaches less experienced team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Mentors and supports training for less experienced associates. Collaboration: Collaborates with other associates from own team and liaises with Managers/ Specialists from other related teams or cross-functional teams as needed. Project Scope: Owns small projects end-to-end to support the business area or category. Owns a defined part of a product; ensures the product is working and functioning according to overarching goals. Identifies new info to feed back up to product owner. Business Partnerships: Prepares first draft of executive presentation to communicate strategic recommendations to business management, based on research and data analysis. Supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Model Development: Builds and manages parts of algorithmic products/models. Ensures segment aligns with overall product goals. Proof of Concept and Prototype: Generates new ideas as an output of research, applies knowledge to come up with new information and contributes to proof-of-concepts for projects. Data Collection and Analysis: Addresses business problems by applying advanced analytics techniques through broad parameters provided by more experienced team members.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in data analytics or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Solving business needs using SQL and cloud technologies such as GOOGLE BIG QUERY and  DATABRICKS, providing valuable insights that helps stakeholders  to make better business decisions; Collaborating with partner teams to generate results that define organizational goals and KPIs; Providing data driven insights and delivering recommendations that address opportunities for improvements; Wrangling, cleansing and data preparation using tools such as TABLEAU Prep or similar; Performing deep dive analysis using cloud technologies such as GOOGLE BIG QUERY and DATABRICKS; data visualization tools like TABLEAU, MICROSOFT  POWER BI to influence metrics such as GMV, sellers, traffic, and volume; SKU performance to drive strategic decisions; Creating/developing  various Interactive Dashboards using data visualization tools such as TABLEAU and  MICROSOFT POWER BI; Creating technical documentation using confluence; and Testing reports for data correctness & formatting built in TABLEAU  or POWER BI.
