You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Periodic review of the existing clients (incl. monitoring of expiry of identification documents; Identification of UBOs and consultation with UBO registry, Bridger alerts management)
• Collaborating with the Compliance Risk Consultant on AML related activities
• Support of ongoing transactional monitoring activities (identification of third-party payments, early buyouts)
• Management of reminders in the event of no response from the customer on KYC refresh. 

• Initiate the daily screening process and manage the alerts (temporarily until this process gets automated)

• Execution of anti-money laundering due diligence process during customer onboarding 
• Verification of Know Your Customer (“KYC”) information  
• Identification of UBOs and consultation with UBO registry 
• Support in credit analysis of simple transactions

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year professional experience in a similar position (Credit, Customer Service, AML)
• Basic knowledge of KYC/AML regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, law, finance or similar
• Fluent Romanian and upper-intermediate English
• Ability to recognize risks and ask the right questions to expose risks
• High attention to details and accuracy
• Good command of Excel and Word
