We’re Disney's Yellow Shoes, the award-winning, in-house creative shop for Disney Destinations. Every day, we have fun creating compelling, memorable work for one of the greatest brands on the planet, and we’re looking for one very talented Planning Innovation Intern to join our team.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, FL, from June 2026 to January 2027.

What You Will Do

As the Planning Innovation Intern, you’ll have the chance to stretch your creative production muscles working closely with the Innovation Catalyst. You will support the execution of multiple projects that deliver concepts and BIG Ideas as part of a transformative team and culture. This is your opportunity to roll up your sleeves and showcase your skills on a broad range of programs as you learn the art of creative problem solving!

On any given day, you might:

  • Drive, execute & anticipate the day-to-day logistical needs of various projects, including budget management, stimulus material sourcing, event set up, and strike, along with the details needed for successful project sessions

  • Conduct creative research, identifying and sharing the latest trends in arts, technology, business, creativity, and pop culture

  • Support and administer engagement with our virtual platform partner, MIRO

  • Manage project timelines in accordance with established deadlines and processes

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently

  • Skills in project management, execution, and a curiosity for robust data mining

  • 150% enthusiasm for your work with an ability to collaborate with diverse personalities to extract the best work.  Curiosity for the question is the goal!

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects

  • Knowledge of working within an Advertising Agency, Innovation shops, or similar creative environments

  • Strong event management/production experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and virtual collaboration tools

  • An interest in design thinking, creative problem solving, and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of The Walt Disney Company's history, including films, animation, television, consumer products, and theme parks

  • Proficiency in MIRO and the Adobe Creative Cloud

  • PA experience in the TV/Entertainment industry

  • Ability to analyze financial data

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business, or Event Management

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program

  • Be at least 18 years of age​

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization​

Additional Information

  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - January 2027

  • Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship

  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

  • While this position is in Celebration, FL, your direct leader will be California-based and virtually present

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.50 per hour.
