WHO YOU ARE:

As a Senior Engineering Manager, your primary role will be to build and lead a software engineering organization aligned with our corporate strategy and delivers on product commitments. We are seeking a team player with leadership experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven track record of successful delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in platform transformation, agile engineering processes, and software architecture/design. While aligned with Product and Project Management, the Senior Engineering Manager will drive financial outcomes by balancing onshore/offshore resource mix and monitoring budgets, motivate and measuring associate performance, and ensure customer delight. You will have plenty of opportunities to innovate and collaborate while guiding your team's technical vision, partnering with Product Manager on customer discovery, helping the team improve through iteration and experimentation, all while opening new opportunities for your team to grow their careers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drive organizational strategy for technology domain
  • Lead, manage and grow teams of customer-focused software engineers
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of technical staff
  • Maintain an organization structure that ensures successful delivery and corporate goals
  • Drive engineering excellence and constant improvement to increase teams' productivity
  • Lead efforts to design, develop, and deploy new and existing applications into cloud environments and mobile platforms
  • Mentor individual contributors to the highest level of performance
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Leadership Team to ensure alignment to goals and build plans to achieve engineering objectives
  • Drive positive financial outcomes through effective budgeting, forecasting, and prudent expense management

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related work experience in the field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise software development
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in people and project management
  • Proven experience leading, managing, and growing multiple cross functional engineering teams
  • Experience leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scaled software solutions
  • Sound knowledge of application development best practices, API best practices and standards
  • Sound knowledge of users’ and systems’ authentication and authorization
  • Experience with agile processes and methodologies
  • Experience delivery through fully automated CI/CD processes
  • Experience driving success through definition and adherence of corporate and engineering KPIs
  • Ability to develop and maintain engineering roadmaps and development plans
  • Ability to define and deliver status reporting at multiple levels
  • Experience supporting production systems and driving customer success
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
