Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused professional to manage a variety of moderately complex to advanced customer inquiries. In this role, you will provide clear, accurate, and timely support to both internal and external customers regarding policies, billing questions, and service‑related requests. You’ll play an essential part in resolving concerns, documenting customer needs, and processing updates to existing policies with attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. This position involves communicating with customers through several channels, including inbound and outbound phone calls, written correspondence, electronic messages, and transferred calls requiring additional service support. Your ability to deliver a positive, efficient, and solutions‑oriented experience will be key to success in this role.

“This position follows a hybrid work schedule, and qualified candidates must reside in or near Uniondale, New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain information in the appropriate data systems with accuracy.
• Stay updated on current marketing initiatives to address related inquiries using all available resources.
• Manage and explain customer document requests, including required actions and any needed follow‑up.
• Maintain a solid understanding of insurance policies and associated procedures.
• Accurately process updates to customer policies and identify opportunities to offer additional relevant products or services when appropriate.
• Use thoughtful questioning and active listening to fully understand customer concerns and demonstrate empathy.
• Strive for first‑call resolution and ensure a positive customer experience in every interaction.
• Address routine, complex, and unique customer questions or issues with professionalism and sound judgment.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $17.98-$23.70 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications.

*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
