About this Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist to support the Convertibles Middle Office. This role is responsible for daily reconciliation review and resolution, allocation processing, client communication, and trade management. The Specialist will evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for control enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and increase STP rates across all daily tasks.
The Equity Middle Office provides daily operational support to the Equity Trading Desk. This includes monitoring trading activity, resolving inter‑system breaks, processing corporate actions and life‑cycle events, and producing Flash P&L. The role also involves analyzing daily settlement reports and managing dispute resolution.
The position requires frequent collaboration with Trading, Sales, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and various business and project management teams. As part of daily controls, the Specialist will review, identify, and explain breaks or discrepancies to the trading desk, while ensuring strong accuracy and quality of work. The role also includes responding to ad hoc requests in a fast‑paced environment.
