Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will be involved in problem-solving and innovation, ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Expected to be an SME.
2. Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
3. Responsible for team decisions.
4. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
5. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
6. Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency.
8. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
9. Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
10. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and deliver high-quality software
11. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
12. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions


Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
2. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration with third-party services.
3. Experience designing and implementing applications using Microservices Architecture, including cloud deployment and exposure to serverless functions.
4. Solid experience with Amazon Web Services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFormation (AWS certification is a plus).
5. Familiarity with database management systems and strong knowledge of SQL.
6. Experience with version control systems such as Git and modern development tools.
7. DevOps experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
8. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
9. Experience working in cross-functional product teams using Agile methodology


Additional Information:
-1. The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
