Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Technical Product Management for J&J Medtech CR will have the responsibility for ensuring reliable technology operations in our Costa Rica manufacturing sites. This role will have management accountability for the delivery of Infrastructure Services and Application Development and Support services under MLL (Manufacturing, Labs and Logistics).

The individual needs to be self-directed and demonstrate confirmed sense of urgency and accountability with a bias for action.

You will be responsible for:

E2E (End to End) Operational Make TS MLL Technology Ownership – IT Products & Processes

  • Point of contact for leading operational site support in collaboration with accountable TS Service Owners and Make Product Line Owners including applications, platform and local infrastructure (incl. Network, Printers, Scanners, RF Guns, Storage, Local Data Centers, Qualified PCs, End User Support, etc.)
  • Primary partner for overall accountability of the business unit reliability and stability across the technology ecosystem.
  • Proactive monitoring and alert management for end-to-end business unit reliability and provide regular service health performance metrics.
  • Reliability – Root Cause Analysis, SLA management, Incident management, Mean-Time-To-Resolution, trending & insights
  • Lead projects of various sizes through the infrastructure and software development lifecycle applying Agile methodologies and tools
  • Audit/Quality/Compliance support
  • Detailed knowledge of operational technology costs for the business unit
  • Accountable for business unit implementation of IT Cybersecurity/TLM strategy roadmap
  • Partnership with Engineering / Automation on L2 integration
  • Observability for TS services
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience and education

  • Minimum University Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar is required.
  • Minimum of 4- 6 years of experience.
  • Proven leadership in Technology
  • Minimum of 4+ years of working experience in the Make and manufacturing areas is preferred

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry is preferred
  • Experience in advanced, end-to-end supply chain and emerging information technologies is preferred
  • Experience in lean, six sigma, and business process mapping is preferred
  • Deep understanding of business drivers/processes and experience to relate priorities to associated technology investments is required
  • Experience working across multiple levels of an organization, knowledge of trends (e.g., digital, data & analytics) is required
  • Must have the experience to create context around key business drivers and strategic plan and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Shown ability to construct a case and track benefits realization
  • Consistent track record of delivering operational efficiencies and financial commitments.
  • A solid grasp of product development lifecycle, knowledge of healthcare, compliance, business theory, management, budgeting and business office operations are all highly preferred.
  • Expertise in helping to drive adoption to improve business value through information technology
  • Preferred experience in working with remote teams
  • Ability to lead high level of complexity, as well to successfully lead multiple critical issues simultaneously and experience in working with multiple challenging team members and priorities
  • Experience in IT infrastructure delivery, application development and support
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with outstanding service orientation are all requirements for this position
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and connect with both external customers and internal JJT partners and across multiple organizations
  • Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs and risks are required
  • Experience with Agile Methodology for Implementation is preferred
  • Clear, concise, and respectful communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within company are required
