JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Senior Executive, Finance to join our team. This role supports premium payments, insurer settlements and financial reconciliations for the broking business. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant accounts payable processing while supporting reporting and audit requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external insurers to maintain effective financial operations.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process insurer premium payments, ensuring accuracy of policy details, taxes, and commissions.
  • Prepare payment batches (TT, FPS, Priority Payment) in accordance with internal approval matrix.
  • Ensure timely settlement of premiums to insurers to meet regulatory and contractual timelines.
  • Monitor outstanding insurer statements and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of insurer accounts, including aging analysis.
  • Resolve mismatches or outstanding items by coordinating with broking teams and insurers.
  • Maintain reconciliation logs and proper documentation for audit trails.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., insurance authority requirements) regarding premium handling and segregation of funds.
  • Follow internal finance policies, and approval workflows.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of accounting data.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

  • Diploma / Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in insurance broking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of premium settlement processes is an advantage.
  • Experience with broking systems is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles (AP/GL/Reconciliation).
  • Strong communication skills with internal teams and external insurers.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
